Анонс: За день до поступления в продажу переиздания c глобальным профессиональным ремастерингом всех 13 альбомов (16 CD) ливерпульской четверки, то есть 8 сентября 2009 года, у музыкальных магазинов выстроились длинные очереди из желающих обзавестись новыми копиями старых записей The Beatles. Утром 9 сентября в торговой точке британской розничной сети HMV на Оксфорд-стрит в Лондоне началось настоящее столпотворение: в магазин хлынула толпа поклонников группы. Аналогичная картина наблюдалась и за океаном. Как сообщила американская радиостанция KRTH, посетители музыкальных магазинов фактически устроили охоту за переизданной лейблом EMI коллекцией дисков The Beatles. Сотрудник одной из торговых точек Лос-Анджелеса рассказал KRTH, что уже к полудню 9 сентября в магазине не осталось ни одного экземпляра специального подарочного издания, в которое включены все альбомы The Beatles. И это при том, что цена такого бокс-сета достигала 300 долларов.
